18 year old dating a 15 year old law
Until a year ago I would occasionally watch him brush and constantly bug him. I think I get stuck in my way of dealing with it and get nowhere. Is he depressed and just doesn't care about his appearance? if you dont want to guilt trip him just show him some nasty pictures of gum disease like they do in those anti tobacco ads.
He has few friendships and spends most of his time alone or with his dad or me. Have you sought out a child/adolescent psychologist to explore your son's behavior? The child knows they are different and therefore will isolate themselves even further. I would definitely believe there is some correlation between his hygiene issues and social issues, that is why I suggest finding a really good psychologist to work with him. I personally would make his bedtime earlier, no computer or games.
I am not sexual active and neither is she, with no plans to be.
My mom's grounded me from going anywhere and she said she WILL take him to court. The thing is, its not illegal unless he forces me to do something, or touches me in certain spot. I dont know what to do, and after her saying it was just wrong, and makes him a creep, iam thinking iam weird. And just to make sure I understand-- Ohio does NOT have an age law difference if one of the parties is 18-- (since there is no sex involved)?? Your son is eighteen and can certainly choose who he would like to date; however, if her parents are unaware of his age and have not consented to this relationship this could be cause for concern. If this were my son, I would want to speak to the parents of this girl.If my 18 year old son is dating a 14 year old girl in the state of ohio and her parents are aware of the situation, can he get in trouble???? Can he get in trouble if he is at the movies or out eating with her ?And finally can someone else other than her parents or herself file "stagetory rape" charges against him just because of his age ??? and does Ohio have am age difference law if one of the parties is 18 years old?Should they engage in sexual relations, this could be cause for concern in the state of Ohio. Click on the underlined link to learn more.§ 2907.04. (A) No person who is eighteen years of age or older shall engage in sexual conduct with another, who is not the spouse of the offender, when the offender knows the other person is thirteen years of age or older but less than sixteen years of age, or the offender is reckless in that regard. So in short, it is not illegal for my son to take his so called "girlfriend" to the movies or out to eat in public places ??? Your son simply needs to be reminded of the law, should he engage in any type of sexual behavior with this minor, he could be at risk for facing crimimal charges. Have you met her parents or perhaps spoken to them on the phone? However, as I said, a person who is 18 or older can be charged with corruption of minors for having sex with a person under 18.Of course, there would have to be proof of the sexual contact, not just a parent saying it happened.
